Chemical Wash

What is chemical wash?

An aircon chemical wash is a deep-cleaning service where our Singapore technicians dismantle the indoor unit and soak key parts like the evaporator coil, blower wheel, drain pan, and filters in a specially formulated solution to dissolve stubborn grime, mould, and biofilm. After thorough rinsing and drain-line flushing, your system delivers stronger cooling, cleaner airflow, and better energy efficiency. Unlike basic servicing, an aircon chemical wash in Singapore tackles odours, leaks, and inefficiency at the source, helping your air conditioner run quieter and last longer.

Why is our chemical wash different?

Our chemical wash includes dismantling and bringing down the entire indoor unit. This means that the entire indoor unit is completely dismantled, allowing us to give a much deeper clean.

Deep cleaning
  • Restores strong, even cooling by cleaning the evaporator coil.

  • Clears drain lines to stop water leaks and ceiling stains.

  • Removes mould, bacteria, and biofilm for healthier air.

  • Eliminates musty odours from the indoor unit.

Benefits of chemical wash
  • Lowers energy use by reducing coil and blower resistance.

  • Reduces noise and vibration from dirty blower wheels.

  • Extends compressor and fan lifespan by easing workload.

  • Enables early detection of worn parts during dismantling

Frequently Ask Questions

Do I need chemical wash or normal servicing?

A: It depends on the condition of your aircon and how long it’s been since the last proper cleaning.

Normal Servicing

Normal servicing is a routine maintenance clean. It usually includes:

  • Cleaning the front cover and air filters

  • Brushing/vacuuming the evaporator coil

  • Flushing the drain pan and drain pipe

  • Basic performance checks

Choose normal servicing if:

  • You service your aircon regularly (every 3–4 months)

  • The unit is still cold, with no strong smell

  • There are no leaks or serious dirt build-up

This is usually enough to keep a well-maintained unit running efficiently.

Chemical Wash

Chemical wash is a deeper cleaning using approved chemical solutions to remove stubborn dirt, oil, and mold. The technician will dismantle key parts and clean:

  • Evaporator coil

  • Blower wheel/fan

  • Drain pan and piping

  • Other internal components with chemical solution

Choose chemical wash if:

  • Your aircon is not cold even after normal servicing

  • There’s a strong musty or foul smell when you switch it on

  • You see heavy dust/mold on the coil or blower

  • The unit is leaking water

  • It hasn’t been properly cleaned for a long time (e.g. > 1 year)

Chemical wash costs more, but it can restore cooling performance and air quality when normal servicing is no longer enough.

Not sure which one you need?
No worries – our technician can inspect your unit on-site, explain the condition to you, and recommend whether normal servicing is sufficient or if a chemical wash is necessary before you decide.

Why do you charge higher than other companies?

Our chemical wash for wall mounted unit generally means dismantling and bringing down the entire aircon unit, this requires more time and achieves a deeper clean. Some companies do it while the aircon is still mounted, offering a quicker but less thorough clean.

*Some units are not available to bring down due to the system (VRV)

How much do you charge ?

Our chemical wash price are different from the BTU(size) of your aircon units. Reach out to us for a free consultation.
